Pharmacological properties: The active substance of the drug (amitraz) is a systemic acaricide, effective against Varroa jacobsoni mites. The drug does not have a negative effect on the vital activity of bee colonies. LD50 of the drug for bees is 10.0 μg / bee.

Indications: Varroatosis (varroosis) of bees / varroa destructo and tropilaelaps clareae.

Doses and method of administration: Use in the form of an aqueous emulsion. The working emulsion is prepared by thoroughly mixing 2 ml of amitraz and 3-4 liters of clean water (the concentration of the solution depends on the strength and health of the family). The solution of the drug prepared in this way is used during the working day. Bee colonies are treated in the fall during the formation of the cluster and in the absence of brood in them, at an outside air temperature of at least 0 °C. Bee colonies are treated by finely pouring a prepared working solution of amitraz from a syringe into the inter-frame space twice with an interval of 7 days. The dose is 10 ml per street. A 2-fold application is recommended: 1 treatment immediately after the end of honey collection and honey pumping; 2 treatment before placing families for wintering (if there are varroa mites on the bees).

The pack contains 20 ampoules of 2 ml.

Side effects: None observed.

Contraindications: Do not treat families with a strength of less than 4 - 5 streets.

Special instructions: Honey from bee families treated with amitraz can be used as food without restrictions.
